ArtRage2

ArtRage2

This is my first attempt at oil painting with ArtRage2 with my new tablet PC.

I haven't really painted since college, and boy am I rusty! (not that
I ever learned how to do it that well to begin with.) I wish ArtRage
had a "dry painting" right now it's really easy to muddy up the colors
without creating new layers. This was all painted on one layer, hence
the muddy colors.

Hi there,
I just found your website from AnimationPodcast.com. I checked out your old reel, it's great, I laughed out loud, I love the wee guy at the beginning getting his hand crushed you've got a brilliant sense of humour. I'm an aspiring animator and was encouraged to see how successful you were with such simple characters and minimal scenery.

I have also been on the look out for a laptop, so I can work on the move and am intrigued by your experimentation with a tablet PC. It appeals to me but I wonder about the capabilities for doing 3D animation. Have you experimented in 3D on yours yet and how does it fare? Which program/s do you use for the 3D animation you produce?

I appreciate any help I can get.

P.S. I would be very humbled if you would consider a reciprical link on your website to my blog at http://enteringanimation.blogspot.com. Thanks
